LUIS BARRETO: A guardian steps into the shoes of the person who has been declared incapacitated. They get to make decisions for that person. The judge determines who a person's legal guardian will become.

We try to keep our clients focused on what's important. There are many side issues that happen in all of these cases. Those side issues don't really add any importance to the case. Those side issues don't help resolve the case.

And people hire us to help them stay focused on what's important. We try to set goals that are realistic and we work towards achieving those goals.

What makes us different than some of the other firms out there doing this type of work; I think it's our experience. I think that collectively as a firm we have a lot of experience to offer our clients. Secondly, I think we have a very human approach to the way that we handle things. We're a small family taking care of other families. And lastly, we try to focus on the client and their needs and tailoring our representation to meet their expectations.
